Definitely. The artist is insistent upon using glossy wet surfaces. Always has, always will. Blacks are blacker, colors more luscious giving a seductive richness that pulls the viewer into the experience.

Does the work have Glass or Plexi in front?

No, but the artwork has a special glossy laminate that protects it from dust, fingerprints and UV light. Glass and Plexi create another reflective surface that is distracting and interferes with viewers experience.
