EXHIBIT: Incompressible Flow at Gallery 825
May 21 – June 24, 2022
Gallery 825, presents Incompressible Flow, a solo exhibition by Richard Slechta.
The exhibition, is based on natural elements of resiliency and movement. Created during one of the darkest and most chaotic periods of our generation, Slechta found parallels in the raging flow of waterway currents. Using one of the first camera-less photographic processes developed, his light-based work fuses together fields of photography and painting using photography’s raw materials. The resulting sketches of light embody the symbiosis of natural forces, creating works that emphasize reciprocity, fluidity, and interconnectivity.
