FEATURING: Plentiful Abundance

One of my favorite new pieces released in 2019 is Plentiful Abundance.  There’s a lot going on in this piece, so let me share a few of my indulgences.  There’s flexing masculinity, youthful breasts and old-timers toasting beers to the spoils of productivity.  Apples and fish are brimming in their baskets as the postage era promises of plenty during hungrier times.  Wrapped-up in the saturated blue and green nostalgia, this fractured dream-like imagery drifts – like trying to recall those stories of old.

Perhaps it’s the splendor of nations abundance that’s encased beneath this glossy-photo surface, liken to sugar-sweet coatings, preserved for more saccharine times.
