PRECARIOUSLY BRIGHT
The Precariously Bright series is distinguished by auras of colorful meteorological like clusters, vibrating and disassembling with atmospheric intensity. This series looks to the skies at celestial objects at the edge of tipping points and ultimately into final stages of unraveling disorder.
A major tenet of my studio practice is looking at the behaviors of natural forces: pressures of geological formations, influence of gravity and flow of currents. I’m thinking in systems, in networks that echo the force of nature, not necessary mimic nature itself.
