To see the future not with certainty

I create to engage, jostle and spar as if it’s an art is an ethical act.  I seek out the collapse of structural systems.   The NEW emerges from the fragments of our past thought.  This is reflected in the series, Precariously Bright, distinguished by auras of colorful meteorological like clusters, vibrating and disassembling with atmospheric intensity.  These works open up questions of the limitations to structural integrity, or lack thereof.

I like to think about the experience of viewing art as a way to identify what blocks me, holds me back.  To see a vista of clarity beyond what I perceive to be real.  And… to see the future not with certainty, but at least to assert certainty.

The three photograms in this grouping are Garden Variety Singularity, Airless Weight and Paragon En Masse.
